Your iGlucose Plus meter has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery — there are no disposable batteries to replace. To charge, connect the included Micro USB charger to the port on the bottom of the meter.
How to charge
- Connect the included charger to the Micro USB port on the bottom of the meter.
- Plug the other end into a power outlet. The screen illuminates, a blue light appears above the screen, and a charging icon displays with the message "Charging. Cannot Perform Glucose Test."
- Leave the meter charging for about 2–3 hours until the battery icon on screen turns solid green.
- Unplug the charger before taking a reading — readings cannot be performed while the meter is charging.
Battery life
A fully charged battery supports approximately 500 tests under normal use. Data transmission (syncing results to Lark) reduces battery life slightly.
When to charge
- Charge when the meter displays "Low battery shutdown" — the meter will turn off when the battery is too low to operate.
- If the meter won't turn on, connect the charger and wait a few minutes — a blue light should appear above the screen once there is enough charge.
ℹ️ The meter cannot be used while charging. If you need to test urgently and the meter is charging, unplug it first — even a short charge provides enough power for a reading.
