Lark is designed to coach participants on the various aspects of living a healthy lifestyle. Every week, your coach will start to focus on different topics ranging from mindfulness, carbs, starches, and other areas that can contribute to better habits.

Using your phone's sensors, your Lark coach will monitor your activity and sleep to provide you advice and tips on these areas. You will also be able to log your food, moods, accomplishments, and track your weight- all while receiving immediate feedback from your coach!

Each time you open Lark, your coach will check your data and go over your activity progress. To get started, you can add data, check your progress, or log items (mood, meals, etc.) by tapping on the plus symbol at the bottom of your screen to start a new conversation.

Lark’s Diabetes Prevention Program is designed to coach participants on the various aspects of living a healthy lifestyle. In the app, your coach will give you lessons and missions focussing on different topics ranging from mindfulness, limiting carbs, and other areas that can contribute to healthier habits that help to prevent diabetes.

Our program is available for qualifying patients with an insurance provider that covers our program. Participants can participate in Lark’s Diabetes Prevention Program at no cost. Many health insurance companies are now covering CDC certified Diabetes Prevention Programs to help patients that are at moderate to higher risk for type 2 diabetes prevent being diagnosed with diabetes.

The program includes a scale, access to Lark Pro features, and the opportunity to get a Fitbit after 4-6 weeks of active engagement in the app.

To clarify, our program is offered at no cost to users who successfully enroll. Lark's Diabetes Prevention Program is considered a preventative service that your insurance fully covers, so it does not cost you anything to participate in.

You may received an explanation of benefits that shows the bill to your insurance from our partner, Solera, however, there should be no amount that you owe. Your insurance will receive a claim for each milestone you achieve, and there are only 4 milestones for the entire program length of a year.

Unfortunately, because Lark does not directly bill or work with your insurance, we are not able to look into your inquiry fully on our end. Additionally, you can definitely delete your account if you no longer wish to use Lark. To do so, tap on the profile icon on the upper left side (or upper right side in Android) and then tap on the small gear symbol on the upper right side on the next page. Next, scroll down to account. On the next page, you will be able to delete your account.

Please note that you will need to contact Solera in order to completely authorize a termination of your enrollment in their benefits program.

If you are enrolled in DPP, you should receive your scale in about 1-2 weeks.

The BodyTrace scale uses cellular networks to transmit data to the Lark app. The setup process is automated and does not require you to do anything. To turn on and use the scale, simply step on it once and stand still to initiate the weight reading.

Once you step off, the scale will show moving dashes displaying the transmittal progress of the weight reading to the app. When it has successfully sent this data, the dashes will stop moving and a dashed box will appear.

Sorry to hear you're having some problems with the scale. Are you storing your scale in an upright position when not in use? You will want to be sure to store it on a flat surface and to not move it frequently, as this can cause value issues, which cause inaccurate readings.

Also, we would recommend "zeroing" the scale out before weighing yourself. To do this, step on the scale once quickly with one foot. When the scale goes down to zero, step on it fully and try not to move while weighing yourself. For additional information, click below into the Scale FAQ or email support@lark.com

This issue typically occurs when there is low cellular reception where you are weighing yourself. Would you be able to try weighing yourself 4-5 times consecutively near a window to boos the cellular reception? This should help push the weights through to your Lark account.

Users enrolled in Lark’s DPP program are eligible for the Fitbit after using Lark actively for 4-6 weeks after downloading the app. This includes weighing-in, having conversations in the app, logging meals, and logging physical activity. Please note that our partner, Solera, will contact you after confirming your use of the app to send you the Fitbit and the process may take a few weeks.

We'd also recommend double checking your spam/junk folder for Solera's Fitbit email in case their message was filtered there.

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with your account. Is it possible you signed in using Facebook previously or used a different email to sign in? You can check your account by tapping on the profile icon located on the upper left side (or upper right side in Android). Then, on the next screen, tap on the small gear icon on the right side. You can then scroll down and tap on Account. Here, you can see the email address associated with the account you are currently logged into. You can also sign out and try signing in through Facebook or logging in with an alternative email you may have used for a different account.

Lark reads and writes activity data and some other contextual data directly to and from your native Health trackers. If third party apps or devices you have write this data to Health then Lark should be able to see it! If they do not (like FitBit, for example), then this data would not be tracked by Lark.

However, you are always able to manually add food and activity to your logs any time by tapping the top left profile icon. This will show you the different sections of logs you have accrued and you can tap each individual one to edit or tap the + icon to add a new entry.

All of your data and personal information is encrypted. We never sell or distribute your data to third-parties or utilize it for anything other than your own Lark wellness and coaching experience.
