Gluten is a protein that’s in wheat and some other grains, but there are many whole grains that don’t contain gluten. Here are some examples.
- Oatmeal (check the package to make sure it says gluten-free)
- Whole-grain oat, corn, or rice cereal, like toasted oat O’s, whole-grain corn cereal, and puffed brown rice (check the package to make sure it says gluten-free)
- Pasta made with brown rice instead of semolina
- Brown rice and quinoa - great as a side dish, in salads, and in bowls
- Popcorn and brown rice cakes for snacks
