No — Lark does not need to be open to track your activity. Once you grant Lark access to your phone's motion sensors, the app records your activity automatically in the background.
On Android devices, you must grant motion sensor access to begin your program. On Apple devices, this can be enabled or disabled manually — we recommend keeping it enabled for the most accurate activity tracking.
