If your blood pressure readings seem off, there are two things to look at: environmental factors and device issues.
Environmental factors
Blood pressure naturally varies throughout the day. For the most consistent results:
- Take measurements at the same time each day and on the same arm
- Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring
- Keep your feet flat on the floor, don't cross your legs
- Don't talk or move during the measurement
- Breathe normally and place the cuff at heart level
Device issues
If readings still seem inaccurate after following the steps above, try replacing the batteries in your monitor. If the problem continues, contact our support team via the webform.
