Directions for connecting your scale to your Lark application differ based on whether you received a Lark or Bodytrace scale.
Lark Scale (Generation 1 (white) & 2 (black))
1. Open the battery compartment on the back of your scale and insert four A4 batteries.
2. Place your scale on a hard and flat surface.
3. - Gen 1: A pairing icon will flash on your scale, signaling that your scale is pairing to your Lark application.
- Gen 2: You will know that the scale is pairing because the number of bars in the upper left corner will increase from one bar to five (to complete the cellular signal icon).
4. - Gen 1: Once your scale successfully pairs to your Lark application, the "[ ]" icon will be displayed on your scale. This may take up to three minutes.
- Gen 2: If pairing succeeds, the cellular signal bars will appear in the upper left corner.
5. Once "0.0" appears on your scale, wait three seconds. Then, step on the scale with both feet.
6. Step off of your scale when your weight is displayed. Your weight reading will blink twice.
7. After ten seconds, your weight reading will automatically be sent to your Lark application.
- Gen 1: The cloud icon in the upper left corner of your display window will continue blinking as your weight reading is transferred.
Gen 2: The scale will show the upload icon (to the right of the signal strength icon, represented by an up and down arrow).
8. - Gen 1: When your weight reading is successfully transferred to your Lark application, the "oH" message will be displayed.
- Gen 2: When your weight reading is successfully transferred to your Lark application, the "OK" message will be displayed.

Bodytrace Scale
1. Open the battery compartment on the back of your scale and insert the batteries.
2. Place your scale on a hard and level surface.
3. Step on your scale and stand completely still to take your weight reading.
4. Step off of your scale. Moving dashes will be displayed on your scale, indicating that your readings are being sent to your Lark application.
5. If your scale successfully pairs, the dashes will stop moving and a dashed box will appear.
