We're so glad that you've received your scale from Lark! If you're having any difficulty with this device, you're in the right place. Let's start with a few general, helpful tips for using the scale:
- We recommend that the scale be placed near a window and on a hard flat surface (like tile or wood) to ensure the best signal strength and measurement accuracy.
- Please ensure that you are storing the scale flat on its feet (storing it upright or on its side can impact the "tare" value and give incorrect readings) on a hard, flat surface when it's not in use, and refrain from moving the scale prior to taking your weight.
- Please remain as still as possible when weighing in, as excess movement can impact the accuracy of your measurement.
- The scale will automatically pair when used for the first time - you will know the scale is pairing because the number of bars in the upper left corner will increase from one to five.
- Before use, please step on the scale once to calibrate it
- If the calibration is successful, you will see a push notification from the Lark app informing you that you've successfully completed the calibration.
