Lark can compute sleep passively by utilizing your phone's motion sensors. Sleep is computed by the last time you touch your phone before sleeping until you first use it when waking up. If you check your phone frequently between when you sleep and wake up, or if you sleep with your phone in the bed, Lark detects that motion and it can affect how sleep is recorded.
Your sleep data can also be affected by changing the sleep source. If you are using another app to record your sleep, and it requires the phone to stay in the bed with you to track your sleep, that will affect how Lark records sleep data.
You can see which source lark is using for sleep data by following these steps on apple devices:
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll down to General > Use data from…
- Scroll down to Primary Sleep Tracking Source.
Make sure Lark is selected as the primary sleep tracking source. At this point in time, Android does not support a data source management feature. Happy zzz's!
