The Lark application uses a unique food database for the meal logging component of your program. Though the food database is extensive, it unfortunately may not recognize all food or beverages that you consume. We apologize for any stress or frustration that the meal logging process may cause you due to this constraint.
One alternative to work around this constraint is to enter your meal's ingredients separately instead of as a single item. For instance, you could enter “burrito” by writing “tortilla, beans, cheese, tomato, rice” in your meal log. It is best to separate your entry with a comma and a space after each ingredient. You can further fine tune your food entry by modifying adding closer descriptions of your ingredients. For example, you can enter "whole grain" tortilla or "vegan" cheese. Our full list of meal and ingredient descriptors can be found in this article.
If there is a food that is not accurately recognized by your Lark application that you would like added to our food database in the future, please reach out to our team at feedback@lark.com with the item you would like included.
